Great private tour of Kochi. We had a great guide, Kumar, who was very helpful and informative. Started with a walking tour of the local shopping area in the newer part of town. Thoroughly enjoyed the Harbor Cruise. Saw many small islands where fishing villages were. Better than I expected! Old Kochi and Chinese fish nets were fun to see, too. Overall, a very nice tour. Also, stopped at a wonderful cafe, Kashi Art Cafe I think for lunch. Lovely place and the food was delicious. He added a stop at a Dhobi Ghat laundry that was very interesting, too. The weather was extremely hot...that was the only detriment.

“A Perfect Day In Kochi”

Reviewed 1 October 2015 We could not be happier with our decision to book the Backwater Cruise with Peter at Carnival Tours. Many from our ship booked the ship tour and ended up on a boat with plastic chairs lined up on a double deck boat. Four of us relaxed on a beautiful boat with teak deck and lovely interior. Food was prepared and served as we enjoyed the beautiful water. We watched the people wash their clothes in the water and paddle down the river for their food. We highly recommend Carnival Tours and especialy the private or small cruise which was much less than the cruise ship tour. Can't say enough for Peter who stayed on top of our booking. He was wonderful and so was his staff. This tour is suitable for everyone.
